What is a thread?
A thread is another word for "topic". Threads contain posts, which are simply responses made to the topic.

How do I start a new thread?
To start a new thread, click "UofO Boards", located on the left menu. Click New Thread.

How do I edit my thread/post?
To edit your thread or post, click Edit. This is located just beneath each thread/post.

How do I keep track of my threads/posts?
All of your threads and posts can be accessed from the main page. Log-in to the web site and scroll down. Just beneath the slideshow, are the most recent threads you participated in.

What does "sitewide posts" mean?
This refers to the total number of posts a student has made. This includes message board posts + club posts.

What is a moderator?
A moderator is a student who has been given special privileges on the message boards. Moderators have the ability to delete threads and posts, if they see them to be inappropriate and against our guidelines.
